WSIWB Claims

The WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) provides wage-loss benefits, medical coverage and support to help people get back to work after a work-related injury or illness.

The WSIB benefits replace the worker's right to sue the employer for similar benefits, making it worthwhile for an employer to obey the law and register with the WSIB.  Most businesses in Ontario that employ workers (including family members and sub-contractors) must register with the WSIB within ten days of hiring their first full- or part-time worker.

SJG Legal represent non-unionized workers with their WSIB workplace injury claims.
